HP - SCM Analytics Manager

I am Srilakshmi Ramagopal and support leadership hiring for Global Analytics business at Hewlett Packard, Bangalore

We have a requirement for an SCM Analytics Manager at Bangalore. Please find below the detailed job description.

This position would be part of the Strategic Projects & Consulting team within Global Analytics Supply Chain & Channel Sales practice. The focus of this role would be three-fold:

- Drive strategic initiatives & projects working closely with Supply Chain leaders within HP, spanning across problem definition, running assessments, sizing and scoping opportunities, leading projects and helping business partners deploy the solution to realize the benefits

- Support efforts to institutionalize and expand analytics footprint into new organizations with HP

- Develop new innovative solutions & capabilities on white spaces and business requirements working closely across business analytics and business teams

Preferred Knowledge, Background and Skills:

- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Operations Research/Quantitative Sciences/Management Sciences or MBA in Operations and a Bachelor’s in an Engineering discipline, both from tier 1 institutes either in India or abroad

- Strong global experience in reputed consulting organizations in presales, projects delivery

- Strong domain knowledge on all Supply Chain Management functions (breadth on all and depth in a few) – Planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory), Sourcing, Distribution, Returns & Warranty, Optimize (Network, Inventory)

- Ability to handle ambiguity and open ended challenging assignments

- Ability to lead projects independently leading cross-team analysts and SMEs from Analytics & businesses

- Expert knowledge and hands-on skills with various business applications (e.g., MS Excel including macros & pivot table, MS PowerPoint), OR Solvers, Simulation tools and Statistical software is desirable

- Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) and executive presence

Preferred relevant experience: 8-12 years
