HP - Master Black Belt II - Finance

- Certified Quality expert (Master Black Belt certified) responsible for conducting or participating in multi-disciplinary process quality improvement/re-engineering, redesign of processes for implementation of quality processes in every area of the company: engineering, manufacturing, service, administration, with a primary focus on Finance processes.

- Develops and leads the Process Improvement Teams (PIT’s) and Finance Quality Councils chartered to identify and resolve deficiencies in HP’s business processes.

- Serves as internal consultant of the Finance Quality Leadership Team to coach and provide direction in order to achieve desired business results.

- Counsels assigned business (es) regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training.

- Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques.

- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

- Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines in which the company must operate to be successful.

- Provides highly innovative solutions.

- Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.

- Assists Finance Quality Office in developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction.

- Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

- Leads large, cross division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.

- May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.

- Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Qualifications

- Master Black Belt certification (Black Belt certified candidates will be considered, but the positon may be scoped at a lower job level/ pay grade commensurate with certification & experience.)

- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years experience leading quality improvement efforts

- Master's degree preferred

- Finance function experience preferred
