Job Description
Typically hire/manage/develop Expert and Master level Integrated Circuit (IC)s.
- Direct/supervise the development of breakthrough analyses and frameworks to maximize return on marketing investment
- Direct/supervise actionable planning and governance
- Direct/supervise the creation and implementation of new processes, technology requirements and technical innovations to drive continuous improvement of marketing performance management systems
- Direct/supervise the design of experiments on key marketing challenges to allow for a very deep understanding of highly complex modeling issues
- Direct/supervise the integration and utilization of new campaign management and other Global Method Project Management (MPM) tools
- Direct/supervise cross-functional and complex marketing programs and/or system implementation such as Marketing Resource Management (MRM)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Customer Knowledge Management (CKM)
- Direct/supervise the identification and definition of marketing requirements for Information Technology (IT) to enable marketing process improvements that increase marketing effectiveness and efficiency
- Direct/supervise the development of training and research materials and related processes and tools.
- Significant impact on strategic planning for overall company, new market entry, existing market base and customer penetration, as well as driving overall marketing effectiveness
Education and Experience Required:
- Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 10+ years marketing, market research and project management or operational experience
- Experience in Marketing systems such as Marketing Resource Management (MRM) or Cutomer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
- Advanced statistics background preferred for analytical positions (advanced degree preferred) in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or related degree with deep research background for analytics roles
- Prior experience in managing direct reports
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Mastery knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
- Mastery knowledge of Marketing fundamentals, lifecycle, marketing mix and knowledge management
- Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence direct reports and virtual teams
- Excellent negotiating and change management skills
- Ability to interface effectively with senior executive management and demonstrate functional disciplines/knowledge
- Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent operational skills with financial/business acumen and strategic mindset
