Senior Manager Finance

Job Description :

- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements

- Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures

- Coordinating all audit activity

- Consistently analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner

- Clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the financial status

- Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process

- Administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining, and correcting variances as appropriate

- Supporting the management in engaging the board's audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery

- Overseeing all financial, project, and grants accounting

- Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the different stakeholders

- Collaborating with stakeholders to assess the financial efficacy of business operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support operations

- Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets, in alignment with the policies and investment guidelines.

Requirement :

- Proven experience as a Financial Manager

- Experience in the financial sector with some experience as a financial analyst

- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns

- Proficient user of finance software

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

- Relevant Master's degree in Finance or Accounting

- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
