What is HotelsAroundYou :

HotelsAroundYou is a seed funded startup out of Mumbai, that works in the last minute hotel booking space. We are mobile only and are building a new disruptive product to change hotel bookings in India. You can download our apps at: www.hotelsaroundyou.com

Salary: 6-9 LPA

What will you be doing :

- You will be signing up quality hotel partners in many cities to our platform

- You will ensure a constant supply of quality hotel rooms at the best prices

- You will be required to research, assimilate, and act on trends in the hotel industry

- As an employee of a fast growing startup, you will have a lot of say in the way the platform and the business shapes up (adding new cities/destinations, exploring related verticals etc.)

What are the requirements :

- You should have around 2-5 years experience in hotel sales, hospitality, online travel, travel management or any related field

- Quality, top notch communication skills - spoken or written. This is very important

- A basic understanding of the hotel industry (prior experience in hotel sales or other OTAs is essential)

- You should have strong negotiation skills

- You must understand revenue management in general. Revenue management in the travel and hospitality industry is a plus

- You can work on PowerPoint and Excel in your sleep

- Persistent personality

- Prior experience with a startup will be preferred

- You should be willing to travel extensively throughout India at short notice (Hey, we are a last minute travel app, remember)
