2 Additional Qualification (Desirable) - None
3 Experience (Years) - At least 5-7 years of post-qualification
4 Industry - NBFC/ Bank/ company in retail segment is preferred. If not, then any reputed law firm
5 Job Summary - Ensure handling of all legal disputes/ perspective issues leading to dispute against the company. Advising the management with best possible solution keeping the legal interest of the company and financial viability of such solution. Ensure due protection of company interest in commercial drafting based on acceptable business risk parameters and needs of the business.
6 Key Responsibilities :
- Drafting reply to legal notices and pleadings relating to court proceedings.
- Complete knowledge of Court Procedures in civil/ criminal cases & consumer forum procedures. Excellent knowledge of consumer protection laws, contract laws and arbitration laws in India
- Representing company before consumer forums, local authorities, and meditations. Liaison with external lawyers and another dept. of the company.
- Drafting of simple but close ended legal agreements, amendments etc. Agreements include variety of service agreement, NDA, lease, leave & license, letter of intent, MOU,
- Advising on matters like contract laws, property laws, registration laws, stamp duty provisions in India and dispute resolution process between parties in different countries.
- Negotiating with confidence on legal terms and conditions with other parties and taking initiative in providing an acceptable solution.
- Research and advise Legal research on contract laws, property laws, registration laws, stamp duty provisions in India.
Supporting Business Activities :
- Assisting in preparing processes and policies, launching new products/ loan offers/ customer/ dealer contests etc from legal & compliance perspective.
