Job description : Sales Manager

Key responsibilities: In charge of Sales and overall operations of the regional office (operations) - with total responsibility of the development of the product/s to be handled in that location/jurisdiction. Achieving the given Monthly/Quarterly/Annual sales targets.

1. Total responsibility from generating enquiry-product specification-submission of quote-coordination during execution if needed and billing and complete collection of payments.

2. Responsible for establishing the product with the architects/PM/client etc.

3. Maintain existing customers and develop prospective customer database.

4. Good contact/knowledge of the leading Architects/Builders/Developers and Interior contacting firms of the respective locations will be an advantage.

5. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by mail, telephone and personal visits - to establish rapport with new clients and present the product features to enable the company to

6. Weekly reporting as per the respective formats shared.

7. Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.

8. Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

9. Gathering market and customer information.

10. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office

11. Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements

12. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations

13. Documentation and to provide daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the RH.

14. Maintaining solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met.

15. Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by persuading customers.

16. Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.

17. Developing innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned region.

18. Conducting surveys to understand customer needs.

19. Attending trade shows to promote company products and services.

20. Ensuring that brand awareness within an assigned region meets company expectations.

21. Monitoring competitors' sales activity within an assigned region.

Skill Sets:

22. Should be a graduate in any stream, MBA/PGDM would be an added advantage.

23. Three key skills set mandatory - Prospecting for new business/customer, product knowledge and presentation skills and ability to finalise orders.

24. Should have experience of minimum 5 to 10 years in sales, wherein at least 5 years' experience in Faade/Exterior Product with exposure to meeting Architects/PM/Faade Consultants,

Developers Decision Makers, Construction Companies etc., Understanding of faade business-preferred from technical product segment.

25. Should have Strong verbal & written communication skills.

26. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

27. Should be a team Player & open to travel.

28. Should be Self Motivated and result oriented person with Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

29. Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field is preferred.

30. Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills with Effective communication skills and Exceptional customer service skills.

Relevant Profiles: From any product from the building material industry with focus on exterior products - prior knowledge of Facades/Glazing will be an advantage.
