Manager – Hotel Relationship

HolidayIQ is hiring a Hotel relationship manager to develop and manage relationship with hotels in a region. The Manager will combine relationship building, analytical and presentation skills with a strong experience in account management/hotel acquisitions and industry/trade relations in India.

The individual will use his/her proven business development skills to create and implement the business development strategy to encourage your region based hotels to enroll with HolidayIQ's – Hotel Engagement program (Online reputation, content and educational program)

What You'll Do:

- Be the face and ears of HolidayIQ in the region

- Developing & executing the strategy for signing up hotels under the Hotel Engagement program

- Identifying organizations that have large accommodation databases/memberships and negotiating deals, signing contracts and working with them to bring incremental accomodations under Hotel engagement program

- Run appropriate educational programs like Masterclass and Webinars to all accomodations, which will allow them to learn about online reputation, trends in online travel, online marketing, hospitality from the content provided by HolidayIQ

- Presenting and attending relevant Conferences, industry gatherings and third party organizations to help build HolidayIQ’s reputation as well as further customers’ undersnding of our offering.

- Present any product enhancements to the appropriate parties to increase understanding about the products

- The individual must also be able to work efficiently with cross-functional teams as well as multiple third party organizations to meet her/his deliverables

- Produce weekly/monthly reports as required

- Liaise with the inside telemarketing teams to ensure all offers are fully communicated and all opportunities are maximized

- Keep up with product training and new offerings as well as latest HolidayIQ value proposition

What We Seek:

- MBA degree will be an advantage

- Excellent written and oral communication in English and other regional language

- Experience in hotel acquisition at a leading company will be an advantage

- Excellent prospecting and negotiation skills

- Able to leverage contacts in the travel community in the territory – hotels, third party resellers, Tourism boards, other hosptality businesses, etc.

- Experienced at building effective client relationships through positive communication, high work ethics and trust.

- Ability to evaluate and set performance based compensation structures for third party agencies and execute/deliver results through them

- Target driven and proven self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision

- Work together with cross functional teams in the pursuit of excellent results and flawless execution

- Flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly

- Willingness to travel

- Work experience of 3-4 years
