Role: Sales Manager
Location- Ranchi & Bhubaneshwar
Role purpose: To lead a team of Channel Sales Executives for driving sales through various distribution channels in the assigned territory and consistently ensure the achievement of targets.
Responsibilities:
Distributor Management
- Guide team on distributor appointment
- Review and ensure that the necessary resources are deployed in the filed by the distribution system.
- Monitor and take necessary steps to manage distributor profitability
Business Management
- Drive Primary, Secondary and tertiary sales in the assigned territory
- Analyze available information and development suitable action plan for driving business objectives
- Prepare, deploy and measure necessary sales target across all levels in the assigned territory
Channel Management
- Ensure availability of stocks in the retail as per the channel norms and drive market share
- Drive execution for deployment of various resources in the channel like promoters, fixtures, sales supports aids, etc. and take responsibility for their Maintenance
- Ensure in-store & external visibility as per the organizational requirement
- Drive various channel support programs that would be deployed from time to time
- Manage channel conflict
Sales Team Management
- Prepare and deploy appropriate targets for the assigned sales team
- Review, provide feedback and coach the sales team for improving their performance
- Performance appraisal and career guidance for the team u
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Bachelor's degree; business and marketing majors preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in managing channel sales in Telecom / FMCG.
- Willing to work anywhere in the country.
- Strong intrapersonal skills.
- Coach and develop direct reports.
- Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
- Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement.
- Train and ensure adherence to sales process.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
