Position Brief :

- HITLAB is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to lead the HITLAB India office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and developing new relationships, interfacing with c-suite executives, obtaining funding, successfully executing and managing projects across geographies, conducting research and analysis on healthcare technology and related topics, and managing day-to-day activities of a rapidly expanding organization.

- The right candidate will be passionate about healthcare and technology.

- S(he) will be a high energy individual looking to work in an entrepreneurial environment geared towards making a difference in the way healthcare is delivered and received.

- The individual will have excellent communication skills. Exposure to multilateral agencies, not for profit organizations and higher education is essential. The ideal candidate should be open to traveling domestically and internationally.

- Desirable educational qualifications for this position include a PhD or MBA/Master degree in public health/business administration/IT or any related discipline. Demonstrated experience in executing the above listed responsibilities is essential.

Position Description :

The Assistant Manager, HITLAB, India will be responsible for the following :

- Explore new grant opportunities and develop customer/sponsor relationships in the South Asia, Asia Pacific and Middle East Region.

- Engage existing sponsors on current projects in India.

- Execute and manage HITLAB projects across ideation, creation, evaluation, diffusion service offerings.

- Work to secure sponsor-ships for the annual HITLAB Innovation Summit and ensure an event that ensures diffusion and exchange of innovative ideas/products/programs.

- Scaling and managing the HITLAB office in India.

- Assist the team in NY and other existing offices around the globe with research and analysis across ideation, creation, evaluation and diffusion service offerings.

- Support teaching and other educational initiatives in India at IIT, Delhi.

- Successfully manage a team of part time staff members, interns, volunteers, contractors, and vendors.

- Proactively report daily activities and targets to the NY office.

Qualifications :

- PhD, MBA or Master's Degree in healthcare/general management or a related discipline.

- Exposure and interest in healthcare, healthcare technology is essential.

- Extensive experience with all aspects of project and process management.

- Proactive in identifying barriers and offering solutions to ensure innovation in healthcare access, delivery and outcomes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High degree of initiative and follow through.

- Ability to engage collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

- Excellent Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
