As the Business Head, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction, enhancing growth and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a seasoned leader with exceptional business acumen, strategic foresight and the ability to grow the company. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy:

- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sustainable growth and profitability for the company by optimizing efficiency of operational processes, reducing costs and new product developments.

- Identifying emerging trends, opportunities and challenges in the market and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Develop and implement business plans to achieve short and long term objectives.

- Collaborate with the executive team to align operational strategies with overall company goals and market trends.

- Make robust efforts to promote business development to ensure effective utilization of the existing/idle capacities.

Business Growth and Innovation:

- Oversee the development of innovative products, services and solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

- Drive expansion into new markets and identify strategic partnerships to enhance the companies footprint.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.

- Develop new customer segment/product segments across all geographies.

Technology Integration:

- Drive the adoption of innovative technologies to streamline manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and reduce costs.

- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation, data analytics, and IoT integration, to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure efficient management of resources, optimizing operational processes for productivity and cost effectiveness.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Implement robust governance structures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and growth.

- Provide regular updates and insights to the Managing Director and Board of Directors on operational performance and project status.

Team Leadership:

- Inspire, lead and develop a high performing executive team and workforce.

- Provide strong leadership and direction to departmental managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Set clear performance goals and expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to support employee development and growth.

Financial Management:

- Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics in collaboration with the CFO and finance team.

- Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic investments and cost management.

- Present accurate and timely financial reports to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to manufacturing, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Assess and mitigate operational risks, implementing appropriate controls and contingency plans to minimize business disruptions.

Sustainability and Innovation:

- Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and enhance corporate social responsibility.

- Encourage innovation in packaging solutions, exploring new materials and technologies to meet evolving industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the chemical industry.

- Strong technical knowledge of chemicals used for paints, inks & other specialty chemicals.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

- Proven ability to scale businesses, drive innovation and manage complex operations.
