Senior Project Manager
Job Description :
- The Senior/Project Manager will be responsible for Project Delivery, People Management, forecast, utilization and stakeholder relations for the assigned project/s.
- He/She will liaison between onshore and offshore teams to manage Oracle Fusion projects which include implementation, Roll-out, Upgrades, Custom modifications, Development or Support.
- Collaborate and maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders (Internal & External).
Must-Have Skills :- Should have prior experience in Banking or Financial Industry
- Should have managed multi $ projects
- Should have prior experience in Oracle Cloud/Fusion Financials
Good to Have Skills :- Prior experience in APAC or South East Asia markets would be an added advantage
- Certification in Oracle Cloud would be an added advantage
- PMP Certification would be an added advantage
Work Location : Bangkok, Thailand
Responsibilities :- You will be responsible for managing team forecast, work assignments and weekly performance (i.e. utilization and project delivery)
- Liaison with onshore project managers and practice leads.
- You would be required to coordinate with GDC for managing, tracking and coordinating the progress of projects that the offshore team is responsible for delivering, ensuring quality and successful services.
- You would be required to understand the project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams to ensure our teams deliver on the required activities and tasks.
- Employs independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of business solution, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively ascertain the roadblocks and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies to evade any delays in delivery
- Analyzes business needs to ensure the solution meets the customer objectives.
- Effectively applies various methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations laid by Hitachi Consulting
- Taking ownership of building effective teams aligned with organizational interests, motivate and direct the same.
- Assist and lead the project team with aspects of their roles.
- Provide technical and functional guidance to the delivery teams.
Skills that would make you successful in this role :- Possess 13+ years of total experience delivering Oracle EBS and Fusion Projects
- Must have experience in Oracles Cloud applications.
- Ability to lead with confidence and communicate effectively across on-shore and off-shore business and technology teams
- Deep domain knowledge in Finance and Supply Chain.
- Technical knowledge across Oracle reporting, integration, conversion and extensions.
- Full life cycle project experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in managing multiple high- volume projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.
- Experience with configuration, conversions and integrating third party application
- Strong skills across MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office and other collaboration and unified communication tools.
