As the State Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the business operations within the designated state.
This key leadership role entails driving profitability, implementing strategic business development and sales initiatives, managing a dedicated sales team, and ensuring strict adherence to company processes, compliance, and internal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Profit and Loss Management:
- Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the entire state, with a focus on maximizing revenue, minimizing costs, and achieving profitability targets.
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations for improving financial outcomes.
Business Development and Sales Strategy :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development and sales strategy for the state, aimed at promoting and selling HFS (Hypothetical Financial Services) products.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Team Management :
- Recruit, train, and manage the entire sales force in the territory, ensuring they are motivated, well-equipped, and aligned with the company's goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to improve the team's effectiveness.
- Create a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
Process and Compliance :
- Ensure that all business operations within the state adhere to company processes, compliance requirements, and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor and enforce compliance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial analysis
