Hindustan Times - Manager/Senior Manager - Treasury

Person will be part of Corporate Treasury team and is expected to work extensively on managing Investments and support on other treasury areas viz. Borrowings, Forex, compliances, accounting & audits of relevant areas, etc.

Investment Management:

- Managing investments of the Group in various debt instruments (primarily debt mutual funds, corporate bonds etc).

- Managing Overseas Investments (both ODI & OPI) in line with FEMA guidelines. Ensuring overseas requirements (including KYC requirements) on FCAs / Custodian accounts are met. Seeking RBI /regulatory approvals on case to case basis.

- Managing Gratuity Investments across Traditional and ULIP.

- Providing strong analytics on investments portfolio, credit risk and scenario analysis

- Keeping the management updated on market developments and expected changes.

- Exploring opportunities and suggesting strategies of maximizing returns with measured KPI, risk parameters.

- Close monitoring of the portfolio to ensure portfolio safety/high quality. Due diligence and credit risk evaluation of the investments and analysis of global and domestic events.

- Compliance with Regulatory Guidelines, Internal Policies and SOPs. Managing Board Approval related matters with Secretarial.

- Managing relationships with AMCs, Advisors, Issuers and other stakeholders (internal and external)

- Responsible for annual treasury budgeting and monitoring company's performance vis- a-vis Targets on monthly /quarterly basis.

- Accounting & Monitoring of treasury transactions as per applicable accounting standards / policies in timely and accurate manner.

Other KRAs

- Supporting on Borrowings, Fx, Risk Management, Working Capital Management, Budgeting/MIS & Reporting, CMS, etc. as per requirement.
