- Managing tax compliance, reporting and filing of all corporate GST returns and annual audit for the Group. - Preparing reconciliation of GST tax returns with the underlying books of accounts and with vendors' GST return. - Act as the key point of contact and support for local taxation matters across various internal functions on a day-to-day basis - Managing relationships with outside tax consultants and regulatory authorities on an on-going basis ((e.g. replying to notices, handling assessments and audits) - Providing internal tax advisory services and support on business operation/ restructuring matters to the Group - SME on GST Analysing business transactions and initiatives, partnering with various teams and functioning as an in-house tax advisor - Managing audit queries of Internal and Statutory auditor in relation to GST returns vis-a-vis books of accounts on quarterly and annual basis - Reviewing financial data for proper application of the GST law and advising on development and maintenance of accounting systems which provide tax information required to be reported - Providing support to the Financial reporting team in relation to GST accounting and reconciliations - Coordinating and managing statutory audits and internal management audits of internal financial control over financial reporting (ICFR) - Closely interacting with various business and commercial teams for review of process notes and risk control matrix on an annual basis in line with changing risk environment - Handling audit queries around design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting - Provide timely and logical conclusion to external audit queries by pro-actively engaging with cross-functional teams and finance heads of different units to ensure clean audit opinion - Maintenance of Financial records, closing and Financial Reporting for an unlisted subsidiary of HTML - Back-up on other Controllership Team roles - Financial Reporting and other allied tasks for the Listed entities in the Group
