Job Description:
We are looking for a digital-savvy community manager to take control of our Quizzing / Coding Community and build strong brand awareness and user loyalty for the platform. Our ideal candidate would possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to engage our users through content/activities on the platform.
You should be a 'people-person' with great customer service skills and a strong affinity to work with school students. You should be able to moderate online and offline conversations within our community and thus act as the face and the voice of our brand; managing all community communications.
You will be the first point of contact for our online users/followers on community platform. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep passion for social media, stay updated with the new developments happening in the school ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Set and Implement campaigns on community to align with both product and marketing strategies
- Provide engaging content for increased user engagement on community
- Monitor and report on Community Engagement and review/feedback from users
- Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Coordinate with Marketing and Content teams to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise with Product to stay updated on new features
- Build relationships with customers and potential customers on platform
- Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field. Marketing and Engineering is a plus.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and writing skills
- Proven work experience as a community manager in any Industry
- Experience launching community initiatives like building an online forum or launching an ambassador program or anything related. Hands-on experience with social media management for brands is a plus
- Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
