Job Description: VCCircle Business & Growth Manager

VCCircle (an HT Media company) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business & Growth Manager to take ownership of our news platform and drive its success through a combination of revenue generation, subscriber engagement, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation:

- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through subscriptions, brand solutions, and other potential channels.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the platform.

- Set and achieve revenue targets for the platform.

Subscriber Engagement:

- Develop and execute strategies to enhance subscriber engagement and retention.

- Create and implement frequent content notifications, mailers, and other communication channels to keep subscribers informed and engaged.

- Analyze subscriber data to understand their behavior and preferences and tailor engagement strategies accordingly.

Marketing & Branding:

- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote VCCircle and drive subscriptions.

- Manage the VCCircle brand and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling content that resonates with the target audience.

Platform Management:

- Take ownership of the VCCircle platform and drive its overall success.

- Analyze platform performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for the VCCircle platform.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

- Identify and implement innovative strategies to differentiate VCCircle in the market.

Requirements:

- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and subscriber engagement in a digital platform environment.

- Strong understanding of marketing and branding principles.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for the news and media industry.

Experience:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field and role

- Experience in the news or media industry is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree + MBA in business, marketing, or a related field.
