Job Description:

Objective:

Title: National Manager-MDM

Function: Finance Shared Services

Work Location: Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:

- Strategic alignment: Represents the global Division/Business Unit to ensure Master Data strategies and priorities align with Division/Business Unit business strategy.

- Scope: Acts as first point of contact for all Master Data requests within Division/Business Unit.

- Operates with a prime focus on Product and Materials (P&M), Vendor and Customer domain but also responsible to cover the other Master Data Domains.

- Division representative for setting and implementing inward and outward master data strategies.

- Operations: Responsible for Master Data creation, maintenance, operational processes and use of Master Data within the Division/Business Unit.

- Instructions and standards: Ensure that relevant sets of instructions, standards and rules are established to regulate the management of data within the Division/Business Unit and that the given processes and metrics for Master Data are followed.

- Ensures the implementation of new Master Data standards within own Division/Business Unit and monitors the compliance to Master Data standards and rules.

- Monitoring and reporting: Manage and communicates status of reporting and progress against implementation plans.

- Governance: Represents the Division/Business Unit in Master Data governance of the Master Data Domains, especially with focus on Product & Material, Vendor and Customer Domain for approving new standards.

- Setting project and implementation strategies, monitoring the progress and handling issue escalations.

- People leadership and development: Ensures that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled, directed and guides, motivates and develops direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies.

- Effects people decisions in the Master Data scope of activities in cooperation with Division/Business Unit and the Domains

Geographical Scope: Across HCCB

Reports To: Head - Financial Shared Services

Key Customers:

Internal Customers: Corporate Functions, Cluster/Zonal leadership and functional stakeholders

External Customers: Third party service providers

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Require bachelor's degree or equivalent with an area of study in business administration, marketing or similar discipline with minimum 5 years of Data Management experience and 2 years of People Management experience.

Experience:

Functional Skills:

- Functional domain knowledge in the areas of commercial, supply chain etc.

- Strong technical and analytical skills

- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Structured Query Language (SQL) Navigator and associated business tools especially ERPs like SAP
