Grade/Designation : Manager - Merger and Acquisitions (Research and Transaction Support)

Location : Bangalore

Reporting to : SVP & Global Head - M&A and Integration

Job Role: The role is created to provide support to SVP - M&A and Integration in doing primary and secondary research, gain intelligence on targets, provide end to end transaction support in evaluation and closure of a deal.

Job description:

Research of market segments and demonstrate domain expertise to map all the key players and their business.

Establish processes to gain intelligence through various channels to understand the shareholding of market players and their forward plans.

Shortlist and target the desired profiles based on the defined criteria.

Support deal sourcing efforts of the Mergers & Acquisitions team.

Coordinate with Business Heads, Cross Functional Teams to evaluate the prioritized targets globally.

Provide end to end transaction support for short-listed targets to evaluate through a rigorous and systematic due diligence approach, create business plans and integration plans, and organize funding, innovatively structure, support negotiations and closure of deals globally.

Make presentations to senior leadership of internal and external stakeholders.

Develop Integration plan to achieve target synergies and manage risks based on due diligence findings.

Manage multiple global projects in parallel.

Key Skills and Experience:

Graduate with Master Degree in Business Management from premier B school

4 - 6 years- experience with an Investment bank, PE, corporate development role pursuing M&A initiatives or a member of a Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team.

Experience in research, transaction support and global deal making.

Experience in BPO sector is preferable but not a must

CFA or CPA qualifications are preferable.

Key competencies: strong financial and analytical skills, good communication and presentation skills.

Key qualities: team player, ability to work in a diverse and global team across geographies, self-motivated, systematic and rigorous approach to evaluate, high energy levels and perseverance to get results, ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
