What is the role?
Key Responsibilities & Goals:
- Proactively develop business opportunities and forge long term relationships in large complex engineering related environment with top International / National Engineering and Design companies with a special focus across Petrochemical, Power and/ or Heavy Industries
- Proactively grow the profitable sales of Hilti solutions to a defined portfolio of Accounts within the Energy industry through promoting additional services and value engineered solutions.
- Plan and execute appropriate activities to new customer groups to ensure the rapid and accelerated introduction of Hilti solutions and prepare for future market developments
- Work with key decision makers (principally Engineers) to secure specifications, technical approvals and recommendations for Hilti products and facilitate c ross functional relationships between these key contacts and the technical sales force at Hilti.
- Working with Engineering firms get specifications on important projects and successful achievement related to Project/account support and specification creation
What are the essential knowledge, experiences and skills you need for this role ?
- Able to define and implement long term business strategy
- Strategic mind set with ability to apply innovative thinking to resolve issues
- Engineering (Civil and or Mechanical Background) with strong Commercial or business capabilities
- Proven success in Petrochemical, Power and/ or Heavy Industry business preferred across 6 to 15 years
- Experience with large customer accounts and be able to penetrate at various levels of the organization
- Experienced and confident in facilitating face to face sessions to audience at all job levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills working in a fast paced commercial environment involving multiple key stakeholders
