Hilti India - Manager - Finance/Accounts Receivable

What is the role?

Join us as a Manager Finance AR, where you will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day Accounting activities for Hilti India. In addition, you will be establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.

A successful candidate needs to be internationally mobile in the long term, and ready to embark on a multinational career by leveraging opportunities in Hilti locations across the globe.

Key Responsibilities & goals:

- Develop, appraise, train and motivate a high performing Team.

- Leads the AR Accounting team to operate in accordance with internal controls to drive a consistent and standardized services.

- Ensure compliant processes with consistent and correct financial bookings in the functional area

- Drive operational excellence and continuous process improvements within the functional area and consistently challenges the status quo

- Monitor and improve function specific performance drivers

- Become a strong business partner

- Influences finance & non-finance stakeholders and successfully communicates at any level of the organization.

- Provide feedback on potential improvements

- Leading area of AR Accounting team, Month End Closing, Audit operations, Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Month end closing and reporting in line with global deadlines

- Ensure compliance of global financial policies in line with IFRS

- Ensure Reconciliations on monthly basis

- Contribute to periodical business planning process

- Preparing & Analyzing key financial MIS: Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.

- Develop strategic financial initiatives to improve results and support management team in a variety of strategic and operational decisions

- Monitor risks and drive sustainable value creation

- Continuous innovation to identify opportunities for automation/standardization of processes to enhance efficiency & quality.

- Harmonizing with the team to prepare and present the MIS report to senior leadership on a regular basis, also for planning sessions

What are the essential knowledge, experiences and skills you need for this role?

- Qualified CA, CA Rank Holder is a plus

- Master's degree in Finance, Intl. Business or Economics from premier institutes will be an added advantage

- 3-6 years of Finance experience, min 3 years in a Team handling role

- Strong functional expertise in Finance. International exposure/experience is a plus

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of SAP is a plus

- Strong interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and cross functional teams
