The successful candidate ideally will have experience in IT services research in an analyst firm, publications to his/her credit, proficient in developing service providers and industry profile. The candidate should have solid understanding of IT applications, IT infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps and ability to develop and deliver compelling research agenda.  Responsibilities: The Principal Analyst BFSI will be part of larger IT Services practice in HfS Research and fulfilling the following duties:  - Developing BFSI IT services research agenda in collaboration with other HfS analysts  - Researching and developing service provider profiles, buyer profiles and industry profiles in IT services  - Tracking different service lines and different sub-verticals in BFSI IT services  - Delivering custom research projects and ad-hoc research requests from customers   - Developing PoVs, white papers and thought leadership content   - Collecting relevant data and information through secondary and primary research  - Organizing information internally and responsible for the Knowledge Management of the IT services practice  Requirements:  - 5+ years post-MBA experience in BFSI IT services research in an analyst firm or a tier-1 IT service provider  - Solid technical understanding of IT application, IT infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps in BFSI environment and ability to drive technical discussions with CIOs   - Past experience in writing engaging white papers, PoVs, industry landscapes   - Engineering and MBA from tier 1 college  - Pre MBA experience in technical role in IT Services  - Intellectual curiosity and interest in tracking BFSI IT services trends  - Ability to work in fast paced, small business setup with minimum supervision  - Only Bangalore based candidates need apply
