What you'll own as Head of Analytics at Hevo:
1. Define the Right Metrics to Track:
- Partner with the function heads across Product, Sales, Marketing, Support and Strategy to understand the key business drivers
- Define the right KPIs and metrics to track across the organization. Build processes to make them readily and reliably available to everyone
2. Provide Meaningful Data-driven Insights to Drive Business Growth:
- Lead complex deep-dive into business metrics, identify bottlenecks and growth triggers. Make recommendations to the business heads on the next course of action
- Work with the data analysts to build and maintain powerful dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data-informed decisions in real time
3. Build an A+ Analytics team:
- Nurture a team of highly skilled analysts by building strong frameworks for 1:1 coaching, performance management, and individual development plan
- Create a hiring roadmap and own hiring targets to scale the analytics team as business needs grow
4. Refine Data Architecture and Data Practices:
- Strengthen the internal data architecture by working with data engineers to ensure comprehensive and reliable data is available for analysis
- Optimize analytics processes to improve the effectiveness of reporting - make key data sets easily available, reduce rework, improve turn around time and quality of insights drawn
- Set up a prioritization framework to balance competing analytics requests from different departments
What you'll bring to the table:
- Experience in building and managing a high-performance, cross-functional analytics team for at least 3+ years
- Strong experience (and track record) of leveraging data and applying advanced analytics solutions to solve business problems
- Strong understanding of modern data stack and experience in working with complex data systems and data visualization tools
- Experience in driving operational improvement across data analytics practices

- Ability to synthesize large data sets and identify patterns
- High problem-solving ability - should be able to diagnose a problem correctly using qualitative and quantitative methods

Ideal candidate persona:
- 10-15 years of experience with demonstrated business impact
- Work Experience - Should have experience in leading analytics teams in any of the following type of companies
- Large-scale B2C setups in Ed-tech or consumer businesses or FinTech would be preferred.
- Engineering degree from top tier colleges
