- Hero Motors Ltd. is the automotive component business of the HMC group (www.hmcworld.co.in), a diversified conglomerate with presence in areas like automotive, E-Mobility, cycles, real estate and premium retail, with a group revenue of USD 500 million in 2020.
- The automotive component business of the group comprises mainly of 5 verticals.
- The verticals Gears & Transmission, Bike Powertrain, Alloys & Metallics are part of Hero Motors.
- The other two verticals, Chassis Systems and Brake Discs & Drums are part of our joint venture companies.
- Hero Motors has recorded strong growth of 20%+ CAGR in turnover over the last 5 years.
- Its latest division, Bike Powertrain is expanding into new product segments EV Motors & E-Drive Systems.
Roles & responsibilities :
Overall responsible for HR & IR function. Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following :
- Statutory compliance.
- Salary & wages.
- Liaison with Govt. Department.
- Policy framing & implementation.
- PMS
- HRM
- Audits (ISO/IATF/Internal).
- Recruitment.
- Manpower planning.
- Training & development.
- Employees grievances.
- Handle union issue.
Functional competencies :
- Knowledge and experience of handling IR issues is a must.
Behavioral competencies :
- Good communication skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- People and relationship skills.
