Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for driving and executing the sales strategy for trade channel across India
- Develop the sales forecast on a monthly basis and work closely with the operations head to ensure the required supply.
- Monitor monthly deviations from the plan and take appropriate corrective /preventive actions to meet annual targets towards realization of business plans
- Drive achievement of revenue targets, collection (quarterly, annual)
- Drive achievement of credit and stock management targets
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as key vendor stakeholders, channel partners / regional distributors and retail stakeholders
- Evaluating and converting new channel partner opportunities and driving adherence to stock management targets.
- Leading the team of Area Sales Managers for driving distribution targets & channel Strategies
- Ensure profitability and implementation of commercial policies
Skills & Qualifications
- 12-15 years of relevant sales experience. Experience with consumer durables is preferred
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and team building skills
