Started 6 years back to capitalize on this broader theme, HEPL, today, has multiple enterprise businesses: (1) Semiconductor Engineering Services (Tessolve), (2) Connected media platform & devices (Mybox) (3) Connected Enterprise Solutions (Zenatix), (4) Smart and Connected Consumer Devices (Qubo).
To manage our portfolio, we have assembled a small team of top notch professionals led by an ex-McKinsey Senior Partner level individual. The individuals in the team will be responsible for providing both operational and strategic support to the portfolio companies to drive value creation. Portfolio initiatives will include driving a diverse set of strategic (strategy development, international expansion, M&A/ JV execution) and operational improvement projects (eg. S&M transformation, new product commercialization).
Role:- At HEPL we are looking for an Associate, who can work with the mid to senior level executives across multiple areas of business including providing support in financial tracking and modelling, pitch presentations, market research and monthly/quarterly business updates of investees. - Take a specific project for one of the portfolio companies and run it with complete ownership: This could range across developing strategy, budget, business case for a product, fund raise evaluation, process streamlining, cost optimization, etc.
- Provide support in new vertical setup and market entry for our portfolio companies
- Create and manage financials dashboard of investees for internal tracking and presentation
- Develop presentation around financials and operations of the investees on a monthly/quarterly basis for internal board consumption
- Develop financial business case including key financial parameters and financial budgeting/projections
- Develop and reinvent business strategy for the portfolio companies
- Identify and evaluate new potential areas of entry and new opportunities for HEPL
- Identify, evaluate and build thesis on new companies to invest
Minimum Qualifications:- Graduate degree from Tier 1/ Tier 2 colleges
- 2-4 years of experience with:
- Tier 1/2 management consulting firms, or
- Mid-market PE/VC, or
- Tier 1/2 Data analytics firms
Preferred Traits:- Strong analytical abilities with ability to analyze drivers and trends, and actively discuss deliverables with key stakeholders across the organization
- Very proficient in excel with experience in financial modelling
- Excellent presentation development skills
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects; excellent time management and organization skills
- Independently manage and drive required deliverable with minimum supervision
