Full-Time Content Writer - Job Description

Job Overview :

Join HealthPlix, India's leading Health-Tech Company. We- re looking for an experienced copywriter with excellent writing skills to join our team as a full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the communications team, you will write clear and concise copy for a variety of projects (including ads, website, blog and social media), working closely with the products and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. You will be required to understand our industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. Your words will inform and engage target audiences. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled writer with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities for Copywriter:

- Write copy for a variety of projects including product, marketing campaigns, web, social, and blogs

- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs

- Collaborate with creative, product and marketing to assess project needs and help with messaging

- Implement brand guidelines in content

- See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment

- Conducting thorough research

- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice

- Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials

- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts

- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines

- Collaborate with designers, marketers, CRM and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)

- Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach

- Source images and other content

- Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action

- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction

Qualifications :

- Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications

- 2-4 years experience in copywriting, preferably in healthcare industry

- Proven track record of generating high-performing copies for campaigns

- Experience with SEO and performance marketing

- Knowledge of how to optimize copies for best performance

- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually

- Strong research skills

- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar

- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Google Docs, etc.

- Strong attention to detail

- Collaborative spirit

- Excellent time-management, organizational skills and multitasking ability

Preferred Qualifications

- Content marketing experience a plus

- Worked with healthcare companies in previous roles and has a knowledge of doctor/patient target audience

- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus

- Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.

- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
