About the role: Senior Key Account Manager- Top Specialty (Cardiologists, Diabetologists, Pulmonologists and Endocrinologists)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Key Account Manager- to join our team, responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with speciality doctors, which includes Cardiologists, Diabetologists, Pulmonologists, and Endocrinologists. The Senior Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth through effective engagement and collaboration with key healthcare professionals in the specified specialities.

Job responsibilities:

- Identify, Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop strong relationships with speciality doctors and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the Cardiology, Diabetology, Pulmonology, and Endocrinology domains. Be the primary point of contact for these accounts, ensuring regular interactions to build trust and credibility.

- Sales and Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to devise strategic plans and execute business development initiatives focused on speciality doctors. Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts and work towards expanding product adoption and sales.

- Account Planning: Conduct comprehensive account planning for speciality doctor accounts, identifying key stakeholders, mapping decision-making processes, and understanding their needs and preferences.

- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and solutions within the respective specialities. Articulate the value proposition of products to speciality doctors effectively.

- Market Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in the healthcare industry, particularly in the fields of Cardiology, Diabetology, Pulmonology and Endocrinology. Monitor competitor activities and provide relevant insights to internal teams.

- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including account performance, sales projections, and market trends. Provide insights to the management team for informed decision-making.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and medical affairs to align strategies and drive successful product launches and promotional activities.

Role requirements:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees in healthcare-related disciplines are a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a strong track record of success in key account management, preferably working with specialty doctors in the Cardiology, Diabetology, Pulmonology, or Endocrinology fields.

- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and current trends in the specialty doctor domains.

- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.

- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.

- Result-Driven: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. A data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Team Player: Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively working in a team-oriented environment.

- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the healthcare industry and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client visits and industry events.
