Overview of the role :
- The Sr. Consultant (Manager) is one of the pivotal roles in this organisation. A Manager is a highly competent professional with strong experience and track record in deploying technology that delivers to the client and consulting team.

In many ways, the Manager role is a coming of age role -- and represents a transition from a person who leads himself/herself to leading others and business, in progressively challenging and complex roles. - A core consulting role within the medical technology domain. The manager, shall be responsible for expansion and facilitating deliveries. S/he will also be responsible for support from pre-sales to sales and deliveries with focus on some critical tasks such as GAP analysis, technology specification setting, implementation and planning etc.
- This role also requires the consultant to build domain knowledge, capture learning's and support the creation of strategy documents, and best practices etc within the organisations environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Client :
- Involved in consulting of medical critical healthcare solutions. Acquire, build and grow client relationships,
- Responsible for requirement analysis, software design, implementation and testing phases of SDLC
- Interact with client engineering team to conceptualize, develop and implement software projects and solutions,
- Build client relationships and ensure delivery of outcomes.
- Lead onsite visits to client locations for requirements, implementation, UAT, etc,
- Proactively stay abreast with new developments in healthcare software development technologies,
- Proactively track developments in healthcare IT, including standards, technologies and workflows,
Company :
- Use his expertise in the Provider and Payer domain for the medical imaging solutions,
- Creating documents involving the analysis, build creation and validation steps, providing Implementation, Post-Implementation support.
- Technical analysis and impact assessment of high priority complaints/defects
Knowledge and Internal Proficiency Development :
- Will be responsible for developing internal competencies. Groom & Train young consultants.
- Work across the organization in project based setup.
- Actively involved in writing abstracts, conducting and imparting training, developing an excellence centre etc,
Requisites :
Education :
- Technical or clinical undergraduate degree.
- Post graduation in technical subjects and/or management highly desirable
Experience :
- 7-8 years of strong track record and performance in overall industry and focus on Life Sciences and Imaging domain. Emphasis on higher achievement and performance.
Skills / Managerial Competencies Required (Mandatory)
Business Skills :
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills in the area of business and healthcare information technology
- Strong EQ and client presence and tram skills to lead and coordinate onsite and offshore teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Excellent presentation and listening skills
Knowledge and Experience :
- Experience in the healthcare domain, including knowledge of healthcare standards, workflows and processes,
- Strong background in strategy consulting, strategic planning and/or account management highly desirable
- Experience of Coordinating with the Pre Sales and sales teams and generation of alternative strategies,
- Experience of Medical Device Customers
- Understanding of Technical Architecture Background Has a techno functional background
- Heading teams of varied profiles and leading specific accounts. Knowledge of US healthcare regulations.
Team Management :
- Proven track record in managing teams and coaching younger team members,
Skills / Managerial Competencies Required (Nice to have) :
Knowledge of HL7 and CCDA,
