Job Description of Under-writer Profile :

- To underwrite proposals for all channels for Health as per authority, agreed underwriting guidelines and TAT

- Tele Underwriting of Non STP (Straight Through Process) proposals and relevant referrals

- To achieve self and team's productivity within agreed TAT and quality parameters

- To de escalate the issues from Sales, Customer and Internal Stakeholders like NB Team, Claims Team and PPMC Team

- To maintain highest quality of standards for tele calling the customer on health questions in terms of voice and accent

- To audit call recordings on a weekly basis

- To audit underwritten cases and provide a report to Head of Underwriting

- To involve in UAT testing and sign off

- To participate in seminars / webinar / activities for underwriters

- Queue management of proposals

- Tele Underwriting in exceptional, NRI and HNI proposals

- Pending portfolio monitoring with new business proposals

- TTT (Train The Trainer) programme implementation at both locations

- Audit of underwritten policies

- Resolution of product queries from underwriting and claims perspective

- Be a part of business process re engineering, business requirement documentation, User Acceptance Testing for IT systems

- Periodical changes in process document, IT system requirement and underwriting guidelines

- Sign off on ECG, TMT, 2 D Echo and other specialized reports

- Collation of various MIS, daily, weekly and monthly report from pending portfolio, TPAs,

- Sales and publish report to Lead - Medical Underwriting

- Audit of call recordings and send specific report

- De escalate the queries from external and internal customer
