About the role:

Headout is looking for a Manager - Payables who is capable of building and mentoring a fast-growing, young, and talented team. They should be a strong communicator, system-builder, and project manager.

Given the ever-evolving nature of our business, it is critical that you are able to learn independently and seek out & evaluate new ideas to bring back to the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Build, manage and grow the payables team at Headout

- Ensure timely and accurate recording of Headout's payments and maintain its ledger

- Ensure all payable reconciliations are done on time, organized, and stored every month

- Solve systemic issues arising from reconciliation and create automation to improve overall efficiency

- Ensures that the company's financial obligations towards the payables are met efficiently.

- Build and maintain robust databases conducive for reporting

- Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the company.

- Improve our Supply Partner experience by ensuring quick TATs, effective communication, and accurate information through iterative team management, processes, and systems.\

Skills and Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred

- 6-8 years of experience (preferably Fin-ops experience in fin-tech / Ecom industry) including 2-3 years of team management experience.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers.

- Strong analytical and time management skills.

- Good presentation skills.

- Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
