Headout - Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Supporting this rapid growth requires meticulous financial planning to ensure each part of our growing organisation is running as smoothly as our slick Headout app. The Finance team is a critical leader and thought partner to all business units throughout Headout. They support strategic direction, drive operational improvements by guiding investment decisions, and lead financial forecasting and long term planning.

As the Finance Manager, you will report directly to the CEO & COO and help build and scale our finance and accounting operation. You will implement an effective and efficient payment process, manage day-to-day accounting, drive forecasting, planning and analysis initiatives. To succeed in this role, you must be a well-rounded top performer with superb data analysis and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the drive to complete projects in a high-intensity growth environment.

What You'll do:

- Set up accounting and payment processes

- Manage day-to-day accounting including vendor payments, reconciliations and reporting

- Manage payroll and employee compensation

- Prepare regular MIS reports for CEO and Board

- Analyse financial performance of various business units and share insights to drive greater capital efficiency

- Understand the regulatory environment and their impact on the business of the company

- Work with accounting partners to ensure continuous regulatory and tax compliance

You have:

- Experience in financial and data analysis, preferably through a top-tier investment bank, PE/VC/hedge fund, analytical consulting role, or corporate/operational finance group

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

- Strong financial modeling (Excel) and scenario analysis skills; work with SQL a plus

- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience required

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
