The role :

Media Ops

- Design is a fast-growing team at Headout of creative, collaborative, strategic people who care deeply about defining new paradigms for the brand.


- You'll get to work with a cross-functional team {ex: designer, researcher, and writers} working together to build a global travel platform for the users to rely on Headout to create their memorable moments via experiences.

- You will actively organize for teams around you to participate in effective brainstorming, partnering with cross functional teams like marketing, research product and engineering.


- You will define and improve the styling and experience of the brand, by leading and guiding others work, with effective critique.

Lead :

- Based on the responsibilities and the focus area you would be able to build a team and manage them to achieve the task.


- You also would be the owner of the initiatives that you are picking up to establish Headout as a memorable brand.


- As you have seen multiple problem statements in your career you will be able to navigate through ambitious situations and still be able to come up with solution or clarity to the problem.


- You will be owning specific initiatives which would have direct impact to the design OKR.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Provide creative leadership and strategic direction for the development and execution of high-quality design to meet global brand objectives and visually communicate products or services to the target audience.

- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Design, Content and Product Management to execute and deliver requirements.

- Contribute to the larger team initiatives and exhibit the quality of a team player by improving overall design outcome.

- Strive to improve the fidelity of visual aesthetics, add design-driven delight to the brand and communication.

- Participate in concept design, prototyping, early-stage design reviews and influencing the stakeholders lead towards design oriented approach to problem solving.

- Design and improve our brand components with by establishing a standard approach and process to build and maintain consistency through end to end user experience

- You will be responsible to lead group of people, plan work, keep them motivated, and own delivery outcomes.

- Lead creative strategy brainstorming sessions and research professional development opportunities for team.

- Efficiently manage creative design team, schedules, workload capacity, team analytics and assist with budgetary management.

- Maintain/develop external professional relationships to assure the ongoing availability of specialized expertise, gifted freelancers, and reputable vendors when their services are required.

- Build high-impact events and overall experiences to motivate, celebrate, educate and tell the Headout brand story.

What skills & experience do you need?

- They should have minimum 6 years of experience working for on brand and marketing design in a cross-functional collaborative environment.

- An awe inspiring portfolio of elegant design solutions that you have owned / helped build.

- Proficiency with design tools and should able to pick up hands-on tasks whenever its necessary.

- In-depth knowledge in visual design principle and methodology

- You should be able to work on diverse problems, where concept developing skills and data analysis skills would need to become critical contributors to the stream-level strategy (OKRs)

- Contribute towards developing the team of designers and guide them towards the planned roadmap.

- Provides actionable feedback to the other team members, and welcomes and incorporates feedback into their work.

- Strong communication skill where concepts needs to be articulated and establish the right expectations in an ambitious situation.

Bonus :

- Prior experience in leading a team of designers

- Ability to derive problem statement and planning roadmaps to solve problems

- Good aesthetic on appreciating art, design and cultural nuances.
