Position Title : Head - Web Strategy and site management
Business Group : Internet Banking, Digital Channels, RLG
Purpose of the Job : The person would be responsible for managing the leading financial website of the bank
Grade: Chief Manager
Location : Mumbai
Key deliverables:
Over all Web Strategy:
- Develop and maintain the web portal
- Design and develop the online strategy and way forward
- Integrate new trends in web technology and analytics in the website
- Launch new features, projects
Digitization of existing business model:
- Identify areas of opportunity for digitizing existing processes
- Enhance lead generation / traffic
- Influence important metrics for online site traffic (unique visits, bounce rate, page views, time spent)
Achieve organizational and marketing objectives through:
a) Online Analytics and increase in visitor traffic:
- Track & manage online activities on all platforms (NLI & LI)
- Help increase traffic through new customer visits
- Create and share monthly dashboard on performance measures with stake holders
- Create/improve navigation to achieve goals based on analytics
- Help product team achieve their conversion targets
b) Website & Portals Management
- Revamping the website, competitive tracking and benchmarking
- Creation of new sections, portals, online engagement tools, functionalities & design
- Building sales & service functionality into the portals
- Aid Lead Generation, Tracking and achieving set business targets
- Coordination with internal departments for managing content/functionalities
- Usage of CMS for website/portal management
- Maintain relationships with different agencies / vendors and coordination with the internal technology team to ensure smooth transition of process.
SEO and Content Management:
- Ensure that content is updated, SEO friendly and relevant
- Increase traffic contribution through SEO
- Improve search engine rankings
- Manage discussion forums and blogs
- Ensure correct and quality targeting through banners and other content
- Ensure that content is brand and regulation compliant
Key skills :
- Adequate knowledge of web protocols, technical platforms, browsers and operating system to deliver best website experience to all customers
- Good communication skills with up to date knowledge of net consumer behavior, innovations and other trends
- Ability to collaborate with product and technology teams to deliver most optimal consumer experience
Competencies : Prior experience with CMS/website management is a must
