Job Responsibilities
Business Development
- Assist Sales Head in developing/ executing sales strategy and plan both short and long range for the region/ territory assigned.
- Establish sales objectives & ensure achievement of defined sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of company services
- Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Identify & generate business from new accounts
- Identify potential market segments/verticals
- Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities.
- Build credibility in the market & gain market share
Account Mining & Management
- Manage the account portfolio for the region/ territory and ensure business growth from existing account s
- Ensure timely collection of payment as per agreed terms
- Liaison with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
- Managing change requests and associated invoices.
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
Customer Management
- Assess, meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Regularly interact with customers and develop excellent & long-term relationships with them.
- Ensure regular, clear and two-way communication between the client and team
- Provide team representation and set proper client expectations.
- Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
Team Development
- Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, counselling and enforcing policies and procedures in assigned geographies/ territories
- Communicating right job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
- Ensure target achievement of team members from different product & geographic domains.
- Set direction and inspire team members and groom team members
- Encourage team members to value the customers and deliver high quality service
- Inspire team members to achieve high standards of performance
Competencies
- Proficient and demonstrable experience in prospecting, qualifying, creating value-based demonstrations
- Proven account management skills
- Should have relevant experience of in BFSI Domain
- Should be sales professional with relevant experience in customised software solutions/ products Should have a thorough understanding / appreciation of software service business
- Should have global market intelligence, knowledge of competitors’ products and future business plans Strong verbal and written Communication skills
- Demonstrated Leadership capabilities
- Excellent networking, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Should be highly motivated and target oriented
