Head (VP) - Sales & Marketing (Chemical/ Plastics/Polymer) :
- Handle the entire sales & marketing process from start to end i.e. initial point of contact (lead generation) then interpreting the proposals, presentations, contract negotiations and finally executing all the deliverables
- Studying the market in depth for current and future market trends; analyzing competition for strength & weaknesses and bringing to the table business opportunity for the organization
- Key Account Management, Competition mapping,
- Execute successfully against account plan giving early warning to any threats to deliver it Understand market segmentation and unique value proposition of products to extract optimal value for our offerings
- Collaborate with R&D and BD Team to identify and grow opportunities within segment Developing the region for maximizing the sales revenue and meeting the corporate objectives.
- Clearly understand market dynamics, new market needs and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitors
- Identify availability, value, and cost of internal capabilities that add to the solution offering beyond just the product line alone
- Review business plan biannually/annually as a part of ideation process & provide progress update versus KPI Assurance for recovery of market outstanding
- Determining distribution channels, agents, re-seller and developing strategy relationship for long-term growth, managing sales accounts (sales & variable margin) within a country, multi country or region for team achievement
- Working on budget planning, key contact for specific business Lines and implementation of strategies
- Assisting sales team, customers for product enhancement and troubleshooting Administering Marketing and Advertising Building right organization structure with right quality of resources to support defined business strategy Administering overall marketing activities, building strong teams, developing strong value & objective driven work systems & environment through close, cooperative & cohesive work approach internally with team
- Evaluating and reviewing company's integrated operations, business practices, updating, streamlining opportunities, and eliminating non-value-added activities
- Administering the entire gamut of business planning and driving strategic initiatives; formulating corporate goals, short & long-term budgets, developing business plans for accomplishment of target & goal of organization
Qualification And Experience :
1. BE or BSc with an MBA in Marketing & having experience of 15+ Years in Chemical or Plastic or Polymer Industry
2. Good technical knowledge to understand technical issues and product range with respect to customer requirement and ability to provide them with an apt solution
3. Ability to work with cross functional and multi-lingual teams with extensive travelling will be required
4. Knowledge of the product line & their applications
5. Knowledge of Customer Complaint Handling
6. Knowledge of Competitors, their products and their strategies
7. Knowledge of Market, Territory
8. Knowledge of Strategy Formation and Implementation
9. Knowledge of Advertising, Public Relations
