Head - Inside Sales ( Designation- VP Inside Sales)
We are looking for an experienced sales leader to lead our client's Inside Sales function.
He/She will monitor the inside sales process, define and monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales team. The job requires collaboration with not only the own team but also with other functional leads, team members and sometimes directly with the customers. Hence, it is imperative to have excellent communication skills, sales capability and ability to work and thrive in a team environment. He must be able to objectively assess the sales team and motivate them to achieve desired targets.
- Ultimately, he/she should be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure both revenue and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Manage Internal and Outsourced Inside sales teams
- Define, track and deliver sales targets from new and existing customers
- Recruit, train and monitor the right team as per business needs
- Suggest and implement improvements in the sales process to increase conversion rate along with overall quality score of the process
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Report on weekly, monthly and quarterly sales metrics and suggest improvements
- Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data
- Ensure sales processes, and organization policies & compliance is followed rigorously
- Work with marketing function to improve the overall data quality
- Provide actionable ideas to business teams for improvement in product features based on customer interactions and feedback
Requirements :
- Proven work experience as Head - Inside Sales in B2C companies. Must have led a team of at least 200+ internal sales personnel
- Experience in inside sales with a leading company in the B2C segment
- Experience of 12-20 years in Sales
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
- In-depth understanding of the sales process
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
