Role : Head / VP - Global C&B
Location : Mumbai
Reporting to : Global CHRO
Position Summary :
- The incumbent shall be primarily responsible for designing, overseeing and implementing Compensation and Benefits programs for the India & Global Market
- The role holder shall also monitor salary structures, balance staffing needs with cost controls and ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and HR vision.
Job Description :
- Design and lead the India & Global ( US, Europe & ME) Compensation and Benefits policies and practices
- Monitor and design Organisations Global salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining the right talent
- Research and analyze salary trends and benefits offered by other employers in the comparative basket
- Undertake Job Evaluations to ensure that correctly align roles/ jobs to their righteous levels and rightfully justify the variation in salary between those doing different jobs within the organization
- Coordinate compensation processes - salary planning, annual variable pay planning and various incentive scheme development
- Design, develop and implement new benefit packages - ensure competitiveness and relevance of salary structures in line with legal and statutory requirements
- Lead various HR Projects/ Interventions - not restricted to C&B sub-function
- Be the custodian of HR KPIs and facilitate the HR Engagement forums
- Train and act as an internal consultant to HR Business Partners and Line Managers on matters related to Job Evaluation and Compensation and Benefits
- Lead the HR Budget process and ensure the same is in sync with Business prerogatives and Plan
- Lead the delivery of various HR reports required for Function, Business and Region (APAC/ Global) on a timely basis
Education : MBA / PG in HR
- About 12 to 18 years of total experience with 6-8 years of relevant experience in C&B
- Experience in an IT organization
- Experience with a global multi-cultural virtual work environment would be an added advantage
Knowledge or Skills Requirements :
- Knowledge of compensation design and implementation .e.g. base pay variable pay benefits perquisites etc.
- Knowledge of country labor laws impacting rewards.
- High order of analytical ability and comfort with numbers
- Ability to effectively interface with multiple geographies and cultures
- Issue Resolution and Escalation
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Tactical and strategic
- Responsible for ensuring compensation strategy is in line with the business needs and market realities
- Deal with expectations of critical business stakeholders i.e. with biz leads capability leads global recruiting third party vendors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in HR support service delivery
