Head - Valuation - Venture Capital

Head Valuation:

Qualification:

- A post graduate is helpful or a CA. The candidate must be from an A Grade university/institute. This is essential for them to have the confidence to manage the external environment of venture capitalists, angel investors etc.

Role:

- Help build a culture of building for wealth among the founders of the Company group of companies. Help prepare the companies to become investment ready.

Responsibility:

- Define the valuation path for the four group companies, all of whom are in the early stage of their growth. The funds could be raised from external sources or from Company itself.

- Track the path to valuation in conjunction with the founders as well as Company finance

- Connect with the external environment including investor conferences, selected private equity or venture capital firms

- Participate in the selection of other investment opportunities for the Company group of companies.

Ideal Likes & Dislikes: (alpha personality)

- Likes: High Ambition Level, Aggressive and Opinionated; Action Oriented; Comfortable with conflict; Ability to live with aggressive feedback, Below 30 years of age, Experience working with a VC/PE firm (ideally a VC firm with a Silicon Valley HQ)

- Dislikes: The reverse of the above, especially consensus builder kind of personality

No of reportees: Shared resources with finance and co-operating with the strategy team in Company.
