Head - Trading - Potato/Onion/Garlic/Coconut/Ginger

Job description

- Will be responsible for sourcing of all traded commodities such as potato, Onion, garlic, coconut and Ginger

- Will manage remote teams across India to source quality products and desired margin and ensure timely replenishment

- Need to build CCs, Build strong vendor/trader/Mandi network and work directly with Farmers

- The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, have a high level of flexibility and commitment, and a strong drive to win. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, great communicator and negotiator, and will have the business judgment and analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, the willingness to roll up his or her sleeves and a strong interest in exploring.

- Additionally, he/she will be working with Vendors and Suppliers in areas such as strategic planning, and contract negotiations.

- Should build strong relationship with vendors/ suppliers. Defining and implementing long term business strategies based on industry trends and competitive analysis and the ability to think outside of the box to solve complex problems are key to success.

Required Skill Sets :

- 6 years of hands-on experience in F& V industry

- Sound knowledge on Fruits & Vegetables markets surrounding Farm areas for better procurement margins.

- Analytical: Extremely analytical and make data based decision and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Margin and quality focused/Customer focused in approach.

- Should have experience and should possess skill on Vendor negotiation and all vendor management.

- Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should know Hindi.

- Explorer/ willing to travel extensively
