Job Description - The role with our client is of Head of Technology for their Flexible Packaging Division which would require the leadership skills to mentor the New Product Development Team, Application Engineerign Team as well as Product Support Team

Description

- Successful implementation of technologies, application services and products within the region in cooperation with BU technology worldwide

- Compliance of standards, processes and guidelines within the area of responsibility in consideration of defined Group standards and guidelines.

- Analysis of market needs which influencing product/ technology developments as well as ensure cooperation and information sharing between R&D and sales force.

- Development of regional technical capabilities as well as ensure know how transfer within the region.

- Presentations and trainings for sales force and customers from technical point of view as well as technical service, complaint management and troubleshooting with Key account customers.

- Implementation and utilization of international account management (IAM) systems and procedures within the region as well as ensure the achievement of IAM targets.

- Efficient project and resources management to achieve defined solutions in consideration of time, costs and performance - and report and communicate the same with fact and figures.

- Develop and implement business plans and objectives within the area of responsibility in consideration of overall BU Technology and regional strategy.

- Define and coordinate adjustments for regional product portfolio and technology in cooperation with Group technology

- Advice and consult customer and affiliates on technology/ product issues. Share information and enforce cooperation within the area of responsibility.

- Benchmark/document product capabilities and communicate the same to Customers

- Plan and control budgets within the area of responsibility

- Development of product / services portfolio and technologies within the Group.

Profile

- A leader with a strong background in Chemistry and a good exposure to New Product Development and Application Engineering as a Whole

- A leader who is also a good mentor with decision making competence
