Technology Delivery
- Responsible for end to end technology implementation and service encompassing solution delivery, application maintenance and support and business engagement
- Manage program delivery of all bank-wide projects/programs
- Responsible to reviewing and approving the architecture for the technology programs
- Establish controls for iterative/Waterfall or Agile frameworks across project life cycle
- Steer enterprise initiatives that support the technology strategy
- Support evaluation of platforms, vendors inline with leading edge technology and market trends
- Ensure timely execution of projects and CRs as per established quality standards
- Ensure compliance to security and compliance framework
- Responsible for prioritization of changes (CRs), programs and overall Capex/Opex management
- Strategic engagement with vendor partners ensuring they are tracked based on the set KPIs
Digital and Innovation
- Responsible for overall technology innovation strategy and timely delivery of digital initiative/ capabilities
- Encourage open banking, integrate with FinTech ecosystem to offer services like PAAS, SAAS, TAAS
- Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight for digital technology function
- Work with senior leaders across the organization to integrate a digital first approach to deliver business objectives.
- Foster a strong customer service mindset through the application team, while championing leadership and partnership with business and key vendor partners
- Lay out a digital banking architecture that traverses the technology stack from User-Experience / Customer-Experience, data-driven strategic analysis and customer insights, cloud provisioning and embedding digitally enabled scalable architecture
- Define and implement key strategic technology platforms and solutions for the future growth and success of the business
Data and Analytics
- Responsible for setting up the data practice for the bank
- Create business specific data lakes and ensure quality of data and timely data synchronization
- Manage data programs and automated reporting for the business
- Responsible for establishing real-time reporting using predictive and prescriptive analytics
Business Partnership
- Be a true representative of technology and trusted partner of business units in leading the IT to meet business-outcomes, and to build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders
- Work with the Strategy and Business leadership team, providing in-depth technical expertise in support of bank-wide business decisions
- Effective and timely communication with stakeholders
- Demand management and prioritization in line with business priorities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization, touching all key functions (Operations, Finance, Commercial, Legal, HR, Audit, etc.) and key stakeholders, staying abreast of short term / long term business drivers
People Management
- Create the digital ready workforce to ensure closer alignment to business groups and units
- Develop, direct, coach and mentor team members in line with the mission, vision, values, goals and performance standards of formal and informal teams
- Fosters an environment of collaboration and innovation
- Timely performance feedback to the team including performance improvement and decisions/approvals with respect to rewards, redeployment and termination
- Identify &hire for strategic skills; grow and establish relevant capabilities within the technology group
- Manage diversified team of technology professional across the geographies
Vendor
- Build strategic engagement with key vendor partners
- Set governance against the delivery objectives in terms of time, cost and quality
- Support in building FinTech ecosystem delivery innovation and digital initiatives
- Manage and track vendor performances based on agreed parameters / KPIs
