Head - Technical Services &amp; BD (Chemical) INDUSTRIES PREFERRED: Masterbatch, Inks, Industrial Coatings, Paints, Textile Yarns, Coumpounding, Wire and Cables, Polymer, Additives, Adhesives and Pigments Job Role: This position is responsible for driving technical services support to our customers and also development of new business opportunities that drive Organisation's overall growth strategy and develop strategic business relationships with customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Services: - Undertake customer visits to understand technical requirements and continuous communication with required teams. - Work with customers for development of new products/ application - Work with customers to give solutions as per their needs, identify the products from our range and work extensively through customer visits. - Explore possibilities of value added products/ application by way of educating them, to provide desired data/test results etc.. - Taking Trials and establishing Processes at Customer end, On-site Troubleshooting, Routine Quality Check, - Identify grades to be offered to different customers by proper segmentation - Co-ordination with R&amp;D/ Manufacturing/ Process Technology to propose design of product including performance tests. - Answer technical queries of customers in a structured and comprehensive way according to defined standards. Continuous response to customers on regular basis - Analyse and interpret results to solve customer issues - Managing customer complaints - Enhance technical and product application knowledge to recommend first time right solution. - Conducting technical training to customers, sales teams and channel partners. - Managing customer complaints, conducting technical training for customers, sales teams and channel partners Business Development: - To develop new business opportunities among existing and new customer /segments. - To generate new leads and develop new partners for target geographies and customer relationship. - To drive Business Development and marketing activities. - Understand customer's business products, applications, manufacturing facilities and segments serviced.
