About our Client - Our client is one of the largest FMCG companies in the world. With an employee friendly culture, they are currently looking for a Director taxation to head their pan India operations with their tax strategy and development based out of their corporate office in Gurgaon.

Job Description - As the Director Taxation you will be handling a team of 4-5 professionals based out of the corporate office and reporting directly into the CFO. As a brief summary of your responsibilities:

- Responsible for tax compliance/planning and will work directly under the guidance of the corporate tax department to handle all tax matters/issues, both for Direct and Indirect taxes

- Responsible for the filing and reporting of all Income tax, VAT, Service tax, Central Excise and other local taxes like Octroi

- Compliance to Corporate Tax and local statutory policies and procedures

- International Taxation and implementation of various tax related accounting standards having an implication on the business.

- Advising on Transfer Pricing issues, formulate Transfer Pricing policies and compliance with Indian transfer Pricing Regulations

- Provide leadership for various tax and business colleagues in relation to all the entities, and to effectively support various stakeholders in the business. This role may also be expected to be involved in various global/regional projects that Global Tax undertakes.

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 10 to 15 years work experience and have worked with or are currently working with a Manufacturing set-up.You are a specialist in taxation with a strong exposure to Direct and Indirect taxation. You have a stable and proven track record of success in working with multinational companies in leading teams. You are articulate, mature and have had exposure to working closely with C-level stakeholders.
