About our Client - Our client is a NYSE listed S&P 500 multi billion dollar organization in the engineering industry. Their presence in India is over 25 years old and are pioneers in their field. Presently they are looking for an exceptional Taxation specialist to head their Tax department.

Job Description - Based out of Mumbai, you will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for the following:

- Own responsibility for direct and indirect taxes with transfer pricing issues

- Advising top management on corporate tax planning and tax strategies

- Handling litigations pertaining to direct & indirect taxation (central excise, customs, service tax and VAT) at tax authorities, Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court.

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA with atleast 20 years of experience in Taxation in with a strong handle on international and excise tax. You have extensive ligitation experience are able to develop a taxation team in house. You must be an excellent communicator and a natural leader.
