Job Objective
Seeking a qualified Head of Tax to oversee various tax practice area of operations and provide high-caliber tax solutions to enhance the brand's reputation. In order to maximize participation and produce high-quality results, you will act as our clients' business adviser.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for GST compliance, focusing on timely and accurate responses to GST inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Lead initiatives to enhance tax efficiency through strategic planning and implementation of GST best practices, optimizing tax structures to minimize liabilities while maximizing benefits.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for tax efficiency improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aligned with business objectives
- Oversee the verification and reconciliation of GST returns with financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with IT teams to streamline processes for IT returns and reconciliation, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular reviews of tax compliance across all relevant sections, identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance through corrective actions and process improvements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the tax team, fostering a culture of compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor the performance of team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and external advisors, ensuring alignment on tax strategies, initiatives, and compliance requirements.
Must Have
- CA/CMA/ MBA Finance or Any other graduation degree
- 5 - 12 years of experience in NBFC or any other finance institution in audit/corporate finance
- Have good Knowledge in NBFC & Banking Audits.
- Good Hands-on Advance excel.
- Willing to travel 10-15 Day's in a Quarter.
