The Head of Taxation will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives while ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities. Exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tax Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective tax strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and accurate reporting.

- Advisory Role: Provide expert advice on tax implications of various business transactions and projects, ensuring optimal tax positions are maintained.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing taxation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to integrate tax planning into business processes.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks, conducting regular audits and reviews of tax positions and policies.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external tax advisors, governmental authorities, and auditors to ensure compliance and address any tax-related inquiries.

- Market Analysis: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and trends within the EPC sector, assessing their impact on the business.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Qualified professional CA/CMA is highly desirable.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in direct and indirect taxation, preferably within the EPC sector.

- Strong understanding of local and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
