Direct Tax & Indirect Tax

1. Handling all scrutiny and reassessment cases

2. Litigation matters at various levels like CIT(A) / ITAT /HC/ SC/ such as drafting appeal's and submissions, briefing to Consultants /Senior Advocates for CIT(Appeal)/ ITAT (Appeal)/Writ /SLP etc.

3. Responsible for Income Tax Returns, National & Expat Taxation, Advance Tax and Tax Audits etc.

5. Obtaining 195/197 Certificates from Tax office

6. Engaged in Survey proceedings related to Advance Tax, Withholding Tax etc

7. Registration of Society under Income Tax (u/s 12AA), Exemption u/s 80G

8. Liasioning with tax officers/ consultants/Senior Advocates/ auditors

9. Preparation of Income Tax Returns, FBT Returns & Wealth Tax Returns of companies, firms,

10. Assisting in issues relating to companies availing deductions u/s 80IA and 80IAB,

11. Preparation of Income Tax scrutiny cases and appearing before the Assessing Officer in assessment, reassessment cases.

12. Drafting the appeals to be filed before the CIT(Appeal)/ ITAT (Appeal) and preparation of written submissions thereof.

13. Handling Withholding Tax/DTAA matters.

14. Handling the Income Tax proceedings of withholding tax in case of international transactions.

15. Replying to in house various queries/issues on direct tax matters like TDS, TCS, Tax Audits, FBT, Advance Tax, MAT etc.

16. Assisting in other Direct Tax assignments as arise in ordinary course of business such as Investigation proceedings, scrutiny of TDS returns etc.

17. Liasioning with tax consultants and auditors for direct tax matters

- Leading the Group Indirect taxation team and ensuring flawless statutory compliances for all businesses of the group

- Ensure compliance with GST & other Indirect Tax Laws such as filling of periodical tax returns, replies/submissions to enquiries from the tax department for all the and Corporate Office
