Head Taxation with a Leading Bank a) Roles and Responsibilities : - Handling all the Direct and Indirect Taxation matters of the Bank. - Ensure tax compliance in the Bank from time to time including Direct and Indirect tax. - Preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS /TCS returns, and other forms under Income - Preparation and filing of various GST Returns as applicable and also preparation and coordination for GST Audit. - Preparation and Coordination for finlaising Income Tax Audit and other audit reports under the Income tax Act. - Following up and coordinating with Consultants and Advocates for preparation and presentation of Appeals at ITAT and High Court and Preparation of Paper books. - Calculations and payment of Advance Tax, Self Assessment Tax and other tax payment. b) Skills Required : - Chartered accountant with minimum post qualification experience of 6 to 8 years. - Preferable from Banks. - Dealing with statutory & Internal auditors - Knowledge of GST and Income Tax provisions (TDS etc.) c) Qualification : Chartered Accountant d) Experience : 6 to 8 years' experience in handling Taxation in Banking sector e) Reporting : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
