Head - Tax & M&A - Education

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Financial structuring and strategy part of the M&A

- Responsible for the entire Group Direct tax Function.

- Responsible for the entire Group In-direct tax Function.

- Manage the relevant Tax litigations, as the case may be.

- Manage the Financial operations of new initiatives and related subsidiaries.

- Foreign subsidiaries tax and accounting governance and related controls.

- To keep abreast with various changes in law and to inform the management about the impact of the same on the company

- Preparing Tax MIS/dashboard on monthly basis of said aspects.

- Responsible for all the GL accounts coming within the ambit of Tax and establishment compliances

Preferred candidate profile :

- Have qualified CA with minimum 10+ years of experience in the field of taxation and M&A

- Have proven working experience in the start-up ecosystem

- Have thorough practical knowledge of direct tax / Indirect tax and other compliances is a prerequisite

- Are well versed with stakeholders management which is an expected trait
